Our Privacy Policy

Measuring website usage (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) software to observe and analyse information about how our visitors use The Website. We do this to assist our research that the content is meeting the needs of its audience and to inform us when making decisions about future improvements and updates. We use the anonymized data collected through GA4 for aggregate statistical reporting purposes only. For example, this can help us learn what type of page content is the most popular, how visitors are finding us (via a referral website), or to understand how we can improve the website navigation experience.

EU data is collected in the EU: Google Analytics 4 collects all data from EU-based devices (based on IP-geo lookup) through domains and on servers based in the EU. For EU-based traffic, IP-address data is used solely for geo-location data derivation before being immediately discarded. It is not logged, accessible, or used for any additional use cases. Data may be forwarded to non-EU Google Analytics servers for processing, however this does not occur until it has been collected and cleansed as outlined above on Google's EU-based servers. Analytics data is stored for a period of fourteen (14) months.

Personally Identifable Information (PII) is not collected: GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses, nor does it collect information such as email addresses, identification numbers, phone numbers, etc.
