Is a VELUX® conversion right for me?
A VELUX or roof light conversion is typically the quickest and most cost‑effective way to transform your loft space.
The process involves adding windows to the existing roof to create natural light and additional headroom. Insulation is then added to the loft space along with lighting and electrics.
As the structural work is minimal, a roof light conversion process is less disruptive meaning it is feasible to live at home during the conversion.

Is it ready yet?
A typical VELUX or roof light conversion generally take between four to six weeks to complete, and doesn’t usually require planning permission.
Works such as plumbing, or a complex stairwell are usually factors which influence the project’s duration.
